Maple Street Creative and Radio Trading Desk have united with fellow agencies across the UK to launch the ‘Save 2021 Sale’, a pledge to reduce service fees for new clients in 2021.
The initiative, led by London Advertising and supported by Pimento, is designed to encourage brands to prepare now for the return to normal trading when vaccinations against Covid-19 reach a level which triggers an unlocking of the economy.
Maple Street Creative and Radio Trading Desk are amongst more than 30 agencies who have signed up to offer a 33% fee reduction off the first three months work to new clients.
Michael Moszynski, Founder of LONDON Advertising, said:
“Marketing agencies are ideally placed to help businesses optimise their share of the ‘Covid-Dividend’ of £100m in unspent disposable income that consumers will be itching to spend once restrictions ease, as well as take advantage of the 67 new trade deals we have in 2021.”
Stephen Knight, Founder of Pimento, added:
“We want to make a contribution to the revival of the economy and encourage those who have put their marketing plans on hold to get ready now for the release of pent-up demand later in the year. We call on clients to take us up on this offer and other agencies to join us to do their bit.”
Ally Lang, Head of Maple Street Creative, said:
“Throughout last year, Maple Street advised and created content to help our clients to continue to be heard. Taking it further, we've now partnered with over 30 specialist agencies that feel the way we do about helping the economy. Including our Radio Trading Desk auction service in the ‘Save 2021 Sale’ also means that advertisers, whether they be from the charity or recruitment sectors, can all be guaranteed the most competitive CPTs in the industry, which we hope will encourage more brands to buy into radio.”
